Autograph book, 1655-1927.

This collection consists of over two hundred autographs of famous statesmen, politicians, military leaders, writers, and other celebrities. Many signatures are accompanied by newsclippings about the person, mostly obituaries, and some are accompanied by photographs. There are miscellaneous documents, including a deed signed by John Endicott (1589-1665), a letter concerning a debt, a permit to remove a building, and a poem by the "Woburn Bard" dedicated to Joshua E. Littlefield (1814-1880), Marcellus Littlefield's father.
